Situated at the western ghats in satara district, it is one the best hill station in Maharashtra. If you are frustrated of the heat & want some cold place to chill, then this one would be the No.1, There are various places "Points" to check. The rooms are available to stay as per day basis near the market. Shopping is not much better. The travel agencies have a combination of 14"points" and Pratapgad. The best time to visit this place would be Autumn . The Echo Point is a must watch. The Mapro factory and the Strawberry farms are the Major attractions. If you are a foodie then the strawberry farms are the best place to eat. Venna lake is sporting attraction which consists Horse Riding, Boating, Games, Paintball and Racing. Food is Fantastic.
