Alibaug is just like how one could describe the understanding connection between beach, peace and Coconut trees. The best place for people to spend their vacation in case of low budget. This place has everything from exotic beaches, tranquil Forts and Spicy Coastal food! This is actually the Heaven for Coastal food lovers. From horse rides to Water Sports, the Alibaug is one destination which never ceases to entertain its guests!



Alibaug is around 110 kms from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and takes approximately 3 hours to reach by road. The road between Alibaug and pen is not in a good condition which makes this ride more time bounding. Here are some of the places worthy of visiting:
                                     

Nagaon Beach:
This beach is the first place where you should be landing when you reach alibaug. The go-to destination for any visitor of this beach paradise. The Gleaming Sun and the reflecting light make this beach an exception in the land of beaches. Its sand reaches till our eyes can't describe the horizon. There are nearby various places to eat and several cottages. Try the Coconut water here as its a nectar for the thirst.

Kashid Beach:
The list of best places of alibaug would be nothing without the inclusion of this beach. The best beach of alibaug easily would be Kashid Beach. The beach is filled with Water Sports and Horse as well as Camel rides. There are various food stalls around the beach as well as the scenery opposite the beach is worth the watch!

Also There are various cottages from around 1km from Kashid Beach. These cottages cost 1500 for 4 persons.

Versoli Beach:
The Quiet beach is the place which is the least crowded and includes a beautiful insight of sunset. The varsoli beach is quite inside and thus its not yet discovered by much people. However there are various villas and cottages to stay near Varsoli which is why this is the important destination in Alibaug.

Kolaba Fort:
What's more marvelling than walking on water to reach a fort? During low tide, one can actually walk towards the fort! The fort has various attractions such as a well maintained temple, Points filled with scenery and a pond square which is complimented with echo point. A boat is available on the beach too which takes around 1000 rupees for 10 seaters. There is also horse ride available which takes all the way towards the fort and costs 200 Rupees per seat.



Akshi Beach:
Around 10 minute drive from Nagaon beach and you can reach the home of numerous crabs and animals along with the Calm and Jolly atmosphere. The water here is not that good for a dive-in but enjoying the beauty of sunrise would be an experience to watch for here. Also there are numerous cottages at very cheap rates available to stay near the beach.
Revdanda Fort:
This gigantic fort is situated approximately 17 kms from Revdanda Village and surrounded with breath taking views and calming sunsets. If you're in Alibaug then this one is a must visit place which promises a calming peace and good time with friends. Also don't get surprised if you see tents around! This place is a favourite for camping. There are rare species of flora around the fort which adds on the fragrance around the fort.

Murud Janjira Fort:
Probably the most beautiful and the most known fort in Alibaug is the Murud Janjira Fort. The fort is non operational during the months of June to September. The fort has around 23 bastions and a beautiful lake inside. This fort is considered as the one which was never captured by any army. The Fort was constructed by Siddhis which today also continues to be an architectural brilliance.  The Fort as 3 Guns made from different metals and a masjid to watch.
