Magnificent Munnar

Munnar, a town in western ghats in Kerala is rich with nature and wildlife. A Paradise for the Trek lovers. This is the coolest place in Kerala. This Hill station will leave you wondering why the outside climate is cooler than that of Air Conditioners. This place is blessed with rains for almost 8 months i a year. This hill station beckons nature lovers from far and near. Large Tea plantations and valleys will make anyone fall in love with this place.

Echo Point:

Ever wondered how it felt to hear your voice being called by the nature? This is the place to relieve the iconic echos and feel the uniqueness of nature. Here, don't mutter the name of your girlfriend or else your mother would be behind you with knives and swords,

Tea plantations:

This place has a strange touch of romance in it. Surrounded with tea plants and their sweet fragrance, what else do you want! But beware as there might be snakes and cobra in the deep parts of the plantations. If you need a great photograph for your facebook profile then this is the place to get one.



Mattupetty dam:

The most beautiful place in Munnar is the Mattupetty dam. The air here has a strange silence which calms the souls of travelers. All you can see here is the marvels of mother nature. This is a real huge dam which showcases the excellence of the architects. Also you will find the best quality of coconut water here. It costs approximately 30 Rupees. There are various shops of handicrafts and showpieces here. There are also various stalls of food here.


Lakkom Water falls:

The clarity of water will make you think for a while whether this is a dream or not. It is a part of
Eravikulam National Park.


Top Station:

It is approximately 40 kms from Munnar and at the height of about 1,880 meters above sea level. It is the uppermost located railway station of Kundala valley railway. The view of Theni from here is simply amazing.

Eravikulam National Park:

It is a place best for the people who love to trek and also for those nature lovers. However it is purely based on luck whether you will be able to catch a glimpse of the rare species animals. Also this national park is vast and has a lot to walk through.
